Romain Taverne is an international hospitality leader with nearly two decades of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. He has contributed to the opening and operation of more than 50 restaurants worldwide, partnering with celebrated chefs and luxury brands to deliver experiences defined by excellence and care.
Most recently, Romain served as Regional Director of Food & Beverage for Aman in the Americas, where he elevated the group’s F&B vision, strengthened guest experience standards, and launched Aman’s first dedicated learning and development platform for food and beverage. He also played a key role in shaping more than 11 new properties scheduled to open by 2030, including over 60 restaurants, bars, and membership spaces.
His earlier leadership spans Make It Nice Hospitality, where he worked alongside Chef Daniel Humm to advance Eleven Madison Park’s historic plant-based transformation, and seven years with Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, overseeing global operations and contributing to major openings in leading destinations around the world.
Romain is also the founder of HPT Hospitality—rooted in the belief that the simple words hello, please, thank you form the essence of true luxury. Through HPT, he partners with hotels, restaurants, and luxury houses to elevate customer experience, deepen engagement, and strengthen culture.
